Bungay Town lost to Wells on Saturday by the odd goal of seven. Bungay ahead in the match 3 times were eventually pegged back with two late goals. See News page for full report.

Bungay Reserves win at Spixworth

Another young Bungay side beat Spixworth with Craig Hunting, available for the first time this season before a two week ban, marshalling the back four superbly. Two goals from Charlie Jones sealed the win.

Bungay U18s first league match

Bungay U18s travel to Stowmarket for their 1st match following their return to the Central Division of the Ridgeons Youth League. KO @ 7.45pm for those spectators who wish to go along and cheer on the young Black Dogs.

Bungay given home draws in both cups

Bungay 1st Team have been drawn at home in both their cup competitions. In the League Cup they will play Mattishall from the Premier Division on Tuesday September 7th at 7.30pm. In the Suffolk Senior Cup they have been drawn against Coplestonians from the Suffolk & Ipswich League - this will be played on Saturday October 9th. Bungay Town FC Golf Day

We have arranged a golf day in aid of club funds at Bungay Golf Club on Thursday 2nd September. The format is 28 holes (10 morning and 18 afternoon) with lunch and evening carvery followed by a presentation of prizes. All this for only £35 per player. We are urgently looking for teams of 3 or 4 to play on the day as we would like to make this an annual event that could make a valuable contribution to club funds - we desperately need to purchase a water bowser before next summer (only £1300) to get more grass growing across all our site during the long dry summers periods.
