Local rivals Bungay & Beccles Caxton met in the final of the Bungay Charity Cup at the Maltings Meadow last Friday. An entertaining match was watched by a healthy crowd and the silverware finished up in Bungay hands, thanks to 3-0 victory. Read match report.

There will also be a raffle on the night to raise money to pay for some much needed renovation work on our main floodlit pitch. (Building a flood barrier and buying a seagull scarer!). Please bring a prize with you.
Probably just missing out on promotion as Scole beat Attleboro 3-1 in the final match of the season. Stranger things have happened in the past though and 3rd place has more chance than 4th

The Sunday 1st Team won the league title on Sunday to go with County Shield final that they won at Hadleigh last Sunday afternoon. In the absence of Tom York and Ben Sprake; Mick Simpson led the team to a glorious 7-3 victory. Sunday Reserves also won 6-0 at home.

Thursday evening witnessed the final of the Bungay Ladies Challenge Cup when Bungay beat Wymondham to hold aloft the magnificent trophy. Picture above and report here
The 1st Team's Player of the month award for May was won by Danny Wilby (Tom Halliwell 2nd). These monthly awards are voted for by the players and travelling supporters directly after each match and will determine the end of season Player of the Year award.
Bungay Town FC will be holding their Summer Tournaments in June this year. Ladies & Girls U10s, 12s, 13s, 16s are on Sun June 16th. Boys U7s, 8s, 9s, & 10s are on Sun June 23rd. Bungay played Mulbarton in the Cyril Ballyn Cup at Watton. A fierce, competitive match was won by Mulbarton who scored a goal in each half to cancel out Shaun Flint's early strike. Congratulations to Mulbarton as the final score reflected the balance of the match on the night. Read match report.
A 5-2 win at Harleston on Sunday confirmed their promotion and clinched the top spot. See league table
Under 14's played St Benets Amber in the final of the league cup on Sunday at Emerald Park but lost 3-2 after extra time. Both teams, parents and managers have received congratulations for the sporting nature the game was played in.
Bungay U7s Blues won the league Fair Play award for their age group this season. This is the 3rd time in succession that our U7s have won this award so congratulations to Jade, Justin, all the boys and their parents for this honour
