Heathersett Hearts 5 - Bungay Under 16 girls
Armed with 4 new players, the girls enjoyed their first away game of the season at Hethersett Hearts. They all played with confidence and good passing skills throughout the team. Bungay went 1up when Alice went round the keeper, after a good build up from Bungay. It was a suprise to find themselves 4-1 down at half time. Hetherset scored 1 more goal, against run of play, but Bungay held their heads up and fought on, mostly playing in their opponents half. Near the end of the match, Rachael slotted Bungays well deserved 2nd. Match ended 5-2 to Hetherset. Bungay manager, Gary, was very proud of the effort and will to keep going from all the girls.
